While my guy friends read ESPN and my girl friends read People through middle school, high school and college, I was enthralled with SLAM Magazine. A publication with swear words, slang & tatted up ball players was my introduction to journalism - when I found out the “real world” didn’t allow for debauchery, I threw in the towel and played the game the way I wanted to. My subscription ended soon after Scoop left, but rarely do I stop in a bookstore and not pick up the most recent issue. Helps that one of my favorite action sports photographers of all time is still on payroll.

After watching this, I’d randomly yell out: “IT’S SO FLUFFY IM GOING TO DIE!!!” because the phrase just doesn’t carry the same oomph when you say it quietly. Pretty sure Neil is embarrassed to be dating me 90% of the time. hehe.
